Island Support Services is a Community Interest Company (CIC). A CIC has a legal company status, set up to directly benefit the community. At ISS we have an experienced and dedicated team to provide a range of professional social care services to people who want or need them.
ISS have specialist skills working with Deaf, Deafened and Hard of Hearing people, although we are also experienced working with Elderly people, and people with Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health Issues.
ISS offer a range of services; however we tailor our support to the individual to ensure a holistic approach. We encourage and support our clients to help shape our services by offering client involvement with recruitment, training, and invitations to management meetings.
All our staff have enhanced Criminal Records Bureau checks, have regular supervisions
and receive regular and relevant training.
